Welcome, my name is Terry A. Laidig. I am an ordained Interfaith Minister and Licensed Wedding officiate based in Lake Elmo, Minnesota. In addition to weddings and commitment ceremonies, I perform all life-cycle ceremonies, including baby naming and blessings, and memorial and healing services/rituals. As an Interfaith Minister I am not affiliated with a formal religious body, such as a church, but I have been educated to participate in worship and rituals of many faiths, in Eastern, Western and earth-based traditions. I believe that all authentic spiritual traditions, at their core, are committed to the common values of peace, tolerance, wisdom, compassionate service, and love for all creation. I honor and celebrate all paths that recognize these values. I believe that whatever our diversity, we all share a common experience that is universal.

As an Interfaith Minister it is my intention to -

• Provide compassionate, respectful spiritual care to people of all faiths and people of no faith.
• Seek to honor both the diversity and the unity of all beings, cultures and faith traditions.
• Provide spiritual support, using pastoral care skills such as listening, presence, and compassion.
• Serve God, and be open to engaging new faith traditions that are not familiar.
• Recognize that the Holy is everywhere: hospitals, jails, nature, religious buildings, or the streets.
• Support people in their process of sorting out their relationship to the Divine.
• Honor the rich gifts and lessons of the wisdom teachings and truths of all faith traditions.
